Advanced Carbon Technology (ACT) can be utilized for the removal of common contaminants like Chlorine, Chloramine, organics, and Fluoride, but also has the ability to remove more problematic and emerging contaminants like PFAS, TCP, RDX, NDMA, PBB’s, PBDE’s , arsenic, mercury, lead, and much more!
Our new Advanced Carbon Technology utilizes the removal capabilities of carbon but in some cases takes only 1/15th – 1/20th of the typical footprint size and capital expense. ACT is the only way many individual schools, hospitals, commercial, and residential buildings would be able to solve their current problems. Unfortunately, most do not have the space or money needed to install a large, traditional GAC system.
For example, a school that found lead contamination could implement ACT with a small enough footprint to fit in the janitor’s closet – while only costing a few cents each day per student! Clean and safe drinking water could easily be attainable for all of the students and faculty. ACT could also be implemented at the POE or POU in residential homes in order to solve problems like Flint, Michigan, as well as many more.
